What You Eat Matters

Our bodies are the machine, the machine is fueled from nutrition, nutrition is derived from food sources, when food sources are contaminated we get sick. A controversial newer term GMO, Genetically Manufactured (Modified) organism is on the rise for concern.
This subject has my attention, it needs yours.
Read this, Mike Adams of Natural News wrote on Sept 26, 2012 has aptly spelled out a great deal of information that is important to read while sharing a list of “children’s” cereals that most likely contain GMO. Please carefully read Mike’s Legal statement for which I fully agree.

Should GMO pose a risk, which is HIGHLY likely, Children will be affected by GMO in far greater numbers because of the consumption over time. I have a teenager and his well being IS my concern. When I think of how much cereal goes into his body, these cereal studies concern me. I ate oatmeal, Cream of Wheat, Wheaties, but very little of the other brands, those were treats. My mother was pretty strict on what we ate. Most everything was cooked from scratch, which I carry on her guidance. My son likes to boast I make the best homemade Mac & Cheese. “In the Day” my mom was a super consumer advocate and boycotted many things, while also writing congress, the companies and consumer groups. It is the fastest way to send a message to a company that is not using good judgment. Whether or not the companies believe they are doing something good to create plants and animals that are resistant to virus, alter “normal” properties for production, add nutritional value, or just have way too much time on their hands, it is up to you to learn what these terms mean, understand the effects of how the genetic material is altered and for what purpose. Please read Mike’s Legal statement for which I fully agree. Consumers must decide for themselves and stay ahead of topics such as GMO study, research and use.

If you find the information to be suspect, pour you messages forward and get dangerous side effects out of (Y)our food sources.

What is most important out of this is that Consumers are aware of dangers and call out health risk products, enforce labeling products with full disclosed ingredients and warning labels. (Mike Adams)

A Natural Prodigy

Life on earth. Do you ever notice, from a sapling, that no matter how old a tree, mother nature always gives it fresh new foliage every spring? Fall may whither her leaves, while crisp winter air freezes her branches, but every spring no matter how old the tree, when in good health, it is rejuvenated by green sprouts and foliage. No matter how old, fresh colors coat our planet. Amazing! When we all use our minds in the same way, how remarkable this place will be.

There Is No Such Thing As Privacy Anymore

Filed under: Uncategorized — crystalclearsolutions @ 9:53 pm

The media mongers have no respect, for themselves, of anything precious in the world, and least of all themselves.

In this day in age, there is no longer privacy anymore. The reason why I bring this up today, is that because of what happened to Duchess of Cambridge Kate and William. They were just enjoying their time together in a remote area where they were just relaxing, and the press takes shots of Kate topless. I mean where do we draw the line? Celebrities and Royal Family is entitled to their privacy too. Even with Prince Harry in Vegas. I mean leave them alone, they are entitled to have fun too and do what they like too. The media always has so much time on their hands that they want to cover news like this all the time. It shouldn’t happen. Peoples privacy is at stake. It is not cool to invade someones privacy. You always here, oh this celebrity is vacationing off this island, or this celebrity is…

I Remember

Filed under: Junk & Treasure — Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , — crystalclearsolutions @ 6:55 am

I remember when the day was long and nights were short, when a gentle breeze swept the hills and plains.  I remember when my Father’s rolling voice called out the evening supper.  I remember a time when children filled the streets without fear and ran among the woods laughing, chasing all that was good.  I remember roasting marshmallows and singing in the rain.  On days like this, one can only hope that we will find the heart to restore that which has been taken away.

Army Boots & more – Wigwam Stores Inc.

Filed under: Business Solutions, Junk & Treasure, Local Events — crystalclearsolutions @ 11:16 pm

Today, while telling fish tales in the break room kitchen, reminded me of my fondest childhood family fishing/camping trips which included vast visits to our local Wigwam store. Funny thing is I never fully knew the story behind this WWII veteran, Homer Powell, his amazing adventure as an entrepreneur pioneering a small business by buying up Army surplus and building out a West Coast Store Chain.

Wigwam, inc.

I swear I could smell the “fresh” cleaned salmon back at my desk.
